This handsome guy is Apollo, one of our male goats. At Várzea da Onça we raise goats because we believe in biodiversity. The goats' manure is a key ingredient in compost, which fertilizes our coffee trees. We use the goats' milk to make cheese, and encourage our employees to give the milk to their growing children.
